Internet Marketing Business Models

There are many Internet marketing business models that in some form provides the highest paying net salaries online.

Simply defined, Internet marketing is nothing more than marketing products and services on the Internet.

It is the process of finding people who are interested in a specific product or
service and linking them to a product or service on the Internet that solves their requirements.

The concept of effective marketing is simple to understand.

If you walk into a crowded room and ask everybody “who’s hungry for Pizza?”.

The people who raised their hands for Pizza, are the interested parties who
comprise your target market.

You can then either provide them with the specific type of Pizza they want
yourself, or link them to a Pizza provider who is able to make them what they want.

The most effective marketers would also determine, who in the crowd wanted which type of Pizza and how much they were willing to pay for it.

There are a number of Internet marketing business models and practices that are used to do this, but the highest paying net salaries are generally earned by individuals using the following three.

  • The E-Commerce Model
  • The Affiliate Marketing Model
  • The Email Marketing Model

E-Commerce is an online store where goods are sold either to individuals or businesses.

You can operate an e-commerce site several ways.

Storefront businesses frequently set up an e-commerce store to sell their products on the Internet and create a secondary source of revenue.

They are already selling their own product or service and are looking to expand their marketing territories.

The majority of storefront businesses already have a physical inventory warehoused in some sort of brick and mortar facility.

Another way to operate an e-commerce site if you do not already have a storefront business, is to sell a physical product on the Internet using wholesale drop shippers.

This e-commerce model is great if you have no physical product to sell of your own.

Sales are made based on product demand.

You market the product and when you sell the goods, the drop shipper delivers the product for you.   You then pay the drop shipper their fee and pocket the difference without having to deal with the usual problems of conventional storefront businesses.

Affiliate Marketing is similar the the second e-commerce business model.

The concept of affiliate marketing is to promote other people’s products or
services and when a sale made or a desired action is taken, you earn a commission which is usually based on a percentage of the sale.

Affiliate marketing is where the big boys play and were you can earn some outstanding net salaries.

Many people who have never considered marketing or owning a business get into affiliate marketing at the entry level to make money quickly.

You can promote any type product or service without having to deal with the
inventory, shipping, or customer services problems associated with conventional businesses.

Many people new to affiliate marketing start out promoting digital Clickbank
products.

Clickbank is an online site that offers a huge number of digital products on almost any topic you can think of.

Because the products are digital, the commission schedules which are a large percentage of the sale cost, are quite liberal.

Email marketing is another way to earn six figure net salaries.

The concept of email marketing is to get people to opt-in to your email list.

This can be done in several ways but usually by offering a valuable free digital gift in exchange for the visitor’s name and email address.

A series of email promotions are then sent to the list subscriber over a period of time.

Using auto-responder technology, it is relatively simple to schedule follow up
promotions and sales to list members and build relationships with them that
will eventually lead to sales.

Statistically email marketers earn at least one dollar per month for each person on their list however, there are a variety of factors that can affect this figure.

Targeted email lists for instance, can earn considerably more.

Although there are many other Internet marketing business models, the best way to become successful is to choose just one of the above and master it thoroughly before moving on.

The really successful marketers have learned to incorporate at least two Internet marketing business models to routinely make six figure net salaries.
